![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This could be the one we've been waiting for. While you can argue that Rebellion and Galactic Battlegrounds are decent, they weren't even close to classic. But sadly, and surprisingly, there haven't been any excellent strategy games set in the fiction. Games like Tie Fighter, Jedi Knight, Knights of the Old Republic, and even the recent Republic Commando. Thankfully we've had more than a few games over the years that have stood up to the test. Whenever a game comes out in the Star Wars universe, I hold on to a modicum of hope that the new title will, in fact, be a worthy entrant. The first three (well, maybe two) movies added some realism into the sci-fi realm that secured my escapism addiction. I can't count myself among the Star Wars idiots that wait in line for months to see a crappy new movie, but I do love the fiction.
